“Kavi Gupta Gallery Berlin is proud to present a new group exhibition entitled Abstract Ilona.
Conceived as a painting-as-installation exhibition, each artist has contributed specific works that address the multi-dimensionality of painting today. Taken from his Happy Railway Paintings, Aribert von Ostrowski exhibits a large-scale wallpaper and a series of specific framed drawings. Henning Strassburger divides the gallery space with a floor-to-ceiling double-sided canvas whose sides constrast a large block of gray with the CMYK color model. Henry Butzer presents a new conceptual photographic work and lastly, stretching across the gallery are three of Tim Berresheim’s massive and surreal digital prints on wood.”
