Open to all professionals from the advertising, film, fashion, and music industries, The Berlin fashion Film Festival once again invite entrants to submit their fashion films before April 30th 2014.
Selected films will be judged by an international jury including Not Just a Label’s founder Stefan Siegel, Vimeo’s lead curator Jordan McGarry, fashion designer Charlie le Mindu, Serviceplan’s executive creative director worldwide Maik Kähler, Esmod Munich designer and art director Ingo Brack, and Berlin-based stylist Jan Luckenbill. Then this July the competition culminates in a major event coinciding with summer’s Berlin Fashion Week, consisting of three public screenings on July 8 and 9, the Berlin fashion Film Festival Award Ceremony on July 10, and the Berlin fashion Film Festival Party on July 11.
For the 2013 edition, the Berlin fashion Film Festival received over 500 film submissions from 38 different countries, and was featured in more than 150 media outlets, including Vogue.it, El Pais, MTV, ZDF and The Independent. The 2013 programme will continue its tour until June 2013 across a selected range of international locations, which have included the Cartel in Dubai, Soho House in Berlin, and on February 8, 2014 the Museo del Traje de Madrid; an event organised by the international distribution platform Piovra.
